Ultrasound has always depended heavily on the skill and experience of the person holding the probe.

That means image quality, measurements, and interpretation can vary from clinician to clinician.

AI is changing that.

A notable multicenter study found that AI-assisted point-of-care ultrasound identified abnormal LV function with 92.8% sensitivity and 92.3% specificity.

This is not about replacing clinicians.
