This is the ultrasound of my lump. As you can see the edges are quite irregular. That can be an indication of cancer. This is the imaging that the radiologists look at in order to give a BI-RAD rating. Check out my video explaining those ratings and feel feel to ask any questions.

Hi everyone! I’m Danielle. I’m a 36 years young physical therapist, Infection Preventionist, wife and mama to two silly toddlers. I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer in June of 2022. Yes, the odds were not in my favor! Stage 1 in my left breast and stage 0 in my right. It’s been a wild journey. I’ve had 3 surgeries with an infection and some skin complications along the way. I’m currently taking tamoxifen and will be for the next 5 years. The journey is not over and it never will be, but I’m trying to adjust to this new “normal” emotionally and physcially. I’m looking for an outlet to share all that I’ve learned along the way and hope to educate and guide anyone going through this process because, I’m not going to sugar coat it, it SUCKs! I’m here and want to help so please follow along.
