Hot Off the Press: ADAO April Newsletter: U.S. Senate Unanimously Passes 21st Asbestos Awareness Week Resolution (April 1–7), Launching Global Asbestos Awareness Week, ADAO’s Conference Returns to DC, and More
The U.S. Senate has unanimously passed the 21st National Asbestos Awareness Week Resolution (April 1–7, 2026), championed by Senator Jeff Merkley and Senator Steve Daines, and co-sponsored by Senators Dick Durbin, Edward J. Markey, Alex Padilla, and Cory Booker. This bipartisan action reinforces the urgent need to protect public health from asbestos exposure.
As we launch the 22nd Global Asbestos Awareness Week, ADAO is proud to share seven days of powerful content honoring those we've lost and amplifying the voices driving change:
