Sequoia Hospital partnered with Fragile X organizations worldwide on an inspiring project to illuminate buildings, landmarks, and bridges in teal for World Fragile X Day on July 22.

Fragile X syndrome is the most common inherited cause of intellectual disability. Raising awareness accelerates progress toward effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

Each participating location (more than 500 worldwide) is featured on the World Fragile X Day map at https://ow.ly/MNv650Wufgq. This not only recognizes our support but also helps local families know where to see the illumination, allowing them to feel the support and solidarity of their community.

Sequoia Hospital's Main Lobby Closing from 9pm to 4am beginning September 1, 2025.

Alternate Entry for Patients/Visitors: During closure hours, all patients and visitors must enter and exit through Sequoia Hospital’s Emergency Department.

Restricted Visiting Hours: Visiting hours will end at 9:00 PM. Between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM, only pre-authorized visitation will be allowed.

Staff Access: Staff members and affiliated physicians will continue to have access through perimeter doors: P1 (near valet), P2 (near Sequoia Way), Emergency Department, and Loading Dock.
