Have you taken Thursday noon class with the incredible Anat yet? If not, sign up! You will not regret it!

Hi, I’m Anat — a dedicated yoga teacher passionate about guiding students into a deeper, more embodied experience of themselves.
I believe healing happens through the body — a pathway to remembering the innate wholeness of body, mind, and spirit.

My teaching is grounded in compassion, mindful movement, and thoughtfully themed classes. I invite students to experience the power of simplicity: moving the body and breath in unison. Yoga, to me, is a dance between control and surrender, effort and ease. I strive to create a balance between joyful exploration and meaningful depth in every class.

For me, yoga is more than a physical practice: it’s emotional and mental practice as well. It asks us to feel more, trust more, and release what no longer serves us. Through yoga, we begin to rewrite our inner stories and form a new, nourishing relationship with ourselves.

Hearts are so full and a bit achy, watching our teachers blossom and grow. Sadly Kelsey is moving on from her regular Friday offering but she will continue to share all her light with us through her reiki and full moon offerings.

“While I am stepping away from my regular weekly classes, I don’t think I can ever truly say goodbye to Peacebank. This community has been such a home for me, and while you may not see me as often, I’ll still be around for our monthly Women’s Full Moon Circles and Small Group Reiki. 🌙✨

This Friday will be my last regular weekly class. It’s a bittersweet transition—this class has been one I’ve loved so much, a space where I’ve not only held but also grown alongside my students. Teaching here has been such a joy: moving with the seasons, tending to the cycles, and connecting with this beautiful community has shaped me deeply. 🌿

What I’ve learned here has gently prepared me for my next chapter, as I step more fully into my counseling work. My hope is to continue weaving the wisdom of seasonal rhythms into the ways I hold space and support others. The teachings of yoga have guided me on this path and continue to do so—as a student, a teacher, and now as a therapist-in-training. They remind me that endings are never truly endings, but part of a greater cycle of growth, renewal, and return. 🌙🌸

Thank you, truly, to everyone who has practiced with me over the years. Your presence has been such a gift!” -

Hearts are sad but so excited for our sweet, amazing, wise Sonia to step more toward her purpose, but sadly away from our Friday morning spot. She wanted to share a note with you all:

It has been such a pleasure to teach at Peacebank and be a part of the Peacebank community over the last few years! This community is truly special, and I will miss having a weekly designated class. Even though I’m shifting my attention to my private clients, I still plan to be on the sub list! I will be teaching through the end of August (out with a sub 8/15, last day of teaching 8/29), and would love the chance to say goodbye in person to anyone who has been a regular or even just came once and enjoyed it over the years!

We love you Sonia and can not wait for your visits and subs in the future 💕

Meet Emily Chu our new special Sunday morning 8:30am instructor!

“Yoga found me at a time when I needed it the most. Working in a fast-paced and stressful environment, I experienced firsthand how a sedentary office lifestyle affected my body. Long hours in unergonomic positions in surgical rooms and the lab led to chronic pain and discomfort. I initially turned to running and strength training to counter these issues and to manage workplace stress. However, several personal challenges drove me to leave the gym, and I found yoga as a substitute. What I found wasn’t just another form of exercise – it was a powerful practice that improved both my physical and mental well-being while connecting me to a supportive community. The combination of mind, body, and breath connection completely reshaped the way that I viewed movement, and I want to share that feeling with those who choose to enter my class.
Whether you’re new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, I hope to provide a safe space for students to connect with their bodies, free from judgement and external pressures!”

Our Friday 10:30am slowFlow taught by Sonia has been renamed to “slowRlease & Stabilize.” This is the same class you know and love that Sonia has been teaching for the past couple of years, but now the name more accurately reflects the unique aspects of the class that make it a little different from our slowflow classes.

In this class, we will move in a slow, intentional way, drawing from the world of somatics in order to gain greater connection to the body and deeper body awareness. This class will have the typical yoga poses you are used to, as well as a wide array of other exercises drawn from other movement practices such as Pilates, strength training, and sometimes even your physical therapist’s toolbox! We will often (but not always) incorporate foam rollers and massage balls for myofascial release. We start and end class with a breath and meditation practice. This class is designed for everyone—from beginners looking for an introduction to the world of yoga and movement, to seasoned yogi(ni)s looking for a different spin on their existing practice.
