Q Bio is on a mission to automate the physical exam from data collection to triage, making preventive personalized healthcare available to everyone.

Critical to enabling this vision is our Anatomical Foundation Model (AFM).

The AFM will automate the analysis, quantification and triage of comprehensive whole body scans to enable the optimal use of our global radiologist capacity and better support longitudinal analyses.

Learn more about the AFM

The Anatomical Foundation Model is capable of parsing and understanding more anatomical structures and their properties with higher accuracy than any prior ML model. This includes over 350 anatomical measurements with over 90% accuracy, growing rapidly to measure all structures in the human body.

Celebrating interns at Q Bio!

On our Computational Sciences team, we're thrilled to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of Alex, a PhD candidate from Stanford, who wrapped up an impactful internship last week. Alex's work on scanner characterization techniques has made a significant impact on improving on our novel quantitative MRI technology at Q Bio. Additionally, we're excited to have Ziwei with the Computational Science team for the summer. Ziwei is a PhD candidate from USC, currently focusing on developing novel acquisition strategies enabled by our proprietary whole body scanner.

Shifting the spotlight to our Hardware Engineering team where we have two current interns. Xinyue, an Electrical Engineering intern from SJSU is focusing on Radiofrequency designs, and building advanced sensor arrays for imaging. Meanwhile, Harry, a Mechanical Engineering intern from UC Berkeley is focusing on designing magnetic field cameras as well as improving the overall mechanical robustness of our whole body scanning platform.

We're also excited that Guanhua, a former intern and recent UMich PhD grad, has just transitioned to a full-time role as a Computational Scientist with us. Here's to the transformative power of internships at Q Bio!
