Calling all PUPPIES!!! National Puppy Day is coming up on January 21st and we are looking for people to share their pups (big or small) with our residents on Wed. January 21st at 2:30pm for about 30-45 minutes.

Please contact Catie at 507-361.1575 or catiehelgeson@vistaprairie.org for more details. We ask that the bigger pups be on a leash and comfortable around people.

Our Annual Resident & Family Christmas Party was once again a success! The Garnette Gardens Choir performance was very festive and entertaining, the cake and punch were DELICIOUS and the gifts were delivered with care.

Thank you to all the family members that were able to attend. It's wonderful to see all the smiling faces and love! ❤️ And also, thank you to the residents, staff, pianist Jeanette, and volunteers for all your preparation, hard work and heart that goes into celebrations like this.

We hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year! Looking forward to more joy in 2026!

Ole and Lena are getting older, and vun day dey vas out in the car and Ole sees the red lights flashing in the mirror. So he pulls over and the policeman says "Ole, vat the heck are you doing?"

"Vell," says Ole, "Lena and I vent over der to da supermarket and got some tings for our dinner, and now ve yust have to go over to da drugstore for our medicine."

"OLE!" says the policeman, "Lena fell out of your car four blocks back!!"

"Oh, tank God" said Ole, "It vas so quiet dat I thought I vas goin' deaf!"
