This month reminds us how powerful it is to show love through presence, compassion, and community. At our community‑supported hospice home, every act of kindness—every wish list item delivered, every volunteer hour, every dollar donated—helps create a space where families can focus on what matters most: time together.

As we move into February, we’re grateful for the neighbors, partners, and supporters who make our mission possible. Your generosity brings comfort, dignity, and peace to those nearing the end of life.

Who's going to be a winner tonight?? We are almost half-way thru the Big Rapids Euchre tournament so it's still anybody's game. In the end, The Comfort Home is the winner since we topped our previous attendance numbers so far - 96 players! Many thanks to everyone who registered, to all our Rockstar volunteers and to those who donated time, talent or dollars to make it all happen. We couldn't do it without you! 💚

So thankful for our Village for getting us the things that we ask for and need on our wishful Wednesday list!! K***s for our cupboards arrived and our volunteer Sherri was able to install them while also doing a few house repairs for us. Thank you so much Sherri for always lending a helping hand and taking care of us here at The Comfort Home, along with our Villagers that follow us and get us the things that we need 💕💕

AANNNDDD just like that, the Big Rapids event is sold out! Thank you for all the interest and never fear, we have another Euchre Tournament coming up on February 21 at the Baldwin AmVets. The registration for that will open up on Monday, January 19. Stay tuned....
