Today, 25 Reedley and Parlier High School students signed contracts for their Health Science Pathways Scholarship awards to begin pursuing their health care career goals in college this fall. At Sierra Kings we understand that our district is a “healthcare dessert” with a limited supply of health professionals. Growing our own through these scholarships will increase access to healthcare and optimal wellness for our community! Big shoutout to our panel - Jonathan (Fresno State), Alejandra (Fresno City Dental Student), and Joanne (Nurse Practitioner) for sharing their college and career experiences with our students!!!

We can’t contain our excitement about the launch of Parlier’s Farmers Market on May 20th. When a community rallies around the planning and implementation of a Farmers Market the way Parlier has, it’s bound to be successful. The line up is amazing: Large supply of produce vendors, plenty of quality-added vendors, local talent, and countless ways to EAT FRESH!, GET ACTIVE!, and CHECK IN!

We are so excited to bring the Parlier Farmers Market to Heritage Park! Starting May 20th, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, for a celebration of local food, crafts, and wellness.

We are especially proud to announce our partnership with the PUSD Plant Science Program! 🚜 Our students have been working hard to bring you fresh fruits and vegetables farmed directly by them. Come out and support our future farmers!

THIS Mental Health Awareness Month, Sierra Kings has again proudly partnered with the City of Reedley to help prioritize the mental wellbeing of City employees and the community! Inspired by the City of Reedley‘s past success, this year we are proud to have also partnered with KCUSD, PUSD, Adventist Health, and the UC Kearney Extension to help them promote mental wellness among their employees. Given that April is PICKLEBALL MONTH, we are excited to announce that City of Reedley Community Services Department poured the foundation for the two new pickleball courts coming to the Sports Complex soon!!!
