👮‍♂️ Meet & Greet with Our Local Heroes! 👮‍♀️

Our residents had a wonderful time during today’s Meet & Greet with our local peace officers! We were honored to welcome Police Chief Marc Ediger and several officers from the Reedley Police Department — and even a retired officer all the way from San Francisco!

The residents truly enjoyed the visit, the stories, and the chance to personally thank those who dedicate their lives to keeping our communities safe. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Chief Ediger and all the officers who took time out of their day to connect with us here at Sierra View Homes — your kindness and service mean so much!

This week’s Fruit Festival was jam-packed with delicious fun! Huge thanks to D.E. Boldt Farms (Boldt Family), Blossom Bluff Orchards (Lowen Family), and Sweetheart Ranch (Buxman Family) for bringing fresh fruit, jams, and biscuits straight from their farms to our residents.

We even tasted jam made from a 120-year-old tree! How sweet is that?

Today we kicked off our very first Summer Fling—a fun new quarterly event hosted by the Sierra View Dietary Office!

Residents enjoyed a tasty lunch with their choice of hot dogs or hamburgers, followed by games and soft serve ice cream in the Sequoia Welcoming Room.

We’re excited to announce our next Summer Fling will be in September, and we encourage families of our residents to join us for the food, fun, and laughter.

Over the past few months, 17 of our amazing residents laced up their shoes and joined the “Walk to Kansas” step challenge! Together, they tracked more than 1,565 miles and over 3 million steps—an incredible journey of dedication, movement, and fun!

We celebrated this milestone with a special gathering in the Wellness Center, complete with great food and great company.

A huge thank you to Dinora for leading the challenge, Jenny (our RCF Administrator) for her support, and the kitchen team for preparing a delicious meal to honor our walkers. We’re proud of every step taken!
