Beth Nofsinger, House Supervisor in our Wound Care Department here at RAMC, was recently recognized for Going Beyond the Expected. She was nominated by the Maintenance Team.

The team wrote - “The Maintenance department would like to nominate Beth Nofsinger for helping shovel during a large snow fall we had. The snow was falling fast enough that we were unable to keep all areas clean out and open so Beth seen that the ER was getting built up and went beyond the expected and help us out by shoving a great deal of the ER entrance making it easier for us to plow and easier for patient and guest to get into the ER. Thank you Beth.”

✨ Team Member Spotlight ✨

Today, we’re shining a light on Emma Schroeder, Director of Wound/Infusion Services here at RAMC. When asked, “Can you tell us a little about yourself and what you do here at RAMC?” she shared:

"I’m a mom to three little girls and spend most of my time balancing the fun and craziness of life with my husband, Palmer. We stay busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! At RAMC, I’m a Registered Nurse and the Director of Outpatient Wound Care, Infusion, and Chemotherapy. I really enjoy getting to know our patients and serving the community I call home. My team and I care for patients with chronic wounds, infections, autoimmune and other conditions, and cancer. I’m thankful to work somewhere that allows me to make meaningful connections while helping care for and support our patients through their healing journeys."

We’re so grateful for the expertise and compassion she brings to our patients and our community every day.

Dawn Higley, Business Services/Prior Authorization team member at RAMC, was recently recognized for Going Beyond the Expected. She was nominated by Jodie Baker.

Jodie wrote - “Dawn was home later in the evening and received a call from a nursing staff member who stated that they noticed her provider forgot to put in a case for surgery in the morning. Dawn was able to gather all the information for the nurse to determine prior authorization would not be required. Patient then could be called to be scheduled for the next day. Thank you Dawn for always being willing to assist no matter the situation or time of day.”
