Charles Ward, AGACNP-BC, is an acute care nurse practitioner who works on the Intensive Care Unit at Beebe Healthcare. As a critical care nurse, Charles is trained and experienced in treating acute and critically ill patients; he provides advanced assessment, diagnostic evaluation, evidence-based care management, hemodynamic stabilization, and ventilator management.

Good heart health is something Chris White will never take for granted again.

During the summer months of 2025, after a cardiac ablation, he started experiencing chest pain, extreme fatigue, and difficulty laying down flat on his back. Chris was diagnosed with Post Cardiac Injury Syndrome (PCIS). Through Beebe’s Cardiovascular Institute, Chris underwent a sophisticated surgical procedure to repair the damage that had been done to his heart.

Today marked a milestone for the R. Randall Rollins Center for Medical Education , as they announced the members of the fourth class of Family Medicine Residents, first class of Pharmacy residents, and first class of Transitional Year residents. In addition to these programs, the fifth class of Core Clinical Campus students from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine was also announced.

The expansion of Beebe's Graduate Medical Education program not only brings academic medicine to our region, but expands access to specialty services and physician capacity at Long Neck Primary Care.

National Healthcare Decisions Day is held each year to educate healthcare providers and the public on the importance of advance care planning for medical decisions. Advance care planning protects your right to determine the care you receive.

Join members of Beebe Healthcare's Palliative Care team on April 16 & 17 to learn more about Advance Care Directives and strategies to effectively share your wishes with loved ones.
