We’re excited to host our upcoming Blood Drive on Wednesday, March 4th from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM right here at Annie Penn Hospital!

All donors will receive:

🩺 Wellness Checkup (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count & cholesterol screening)

After just two weeks, Annie Penn Hospital has collected 248 pounds of food for the Annual County-Wide Food Drive! 🥫💙

Our departments and practices have truly stepped up to support families across Rockingham County. It may also help that we’ve added a little friendly competition between departments to see who can collect the most food 😉🏆

Shoutout to Penn Nursing Center, who has been rocking the competition and is currently in 1st place with 97 pounds collected! 🏆👏🏽

Every donation makes a difference and helps ensure our neighbors have access to essential items. We are so proud of our team’s generosity and commitment to serving our community both inside and outside our hospital walls.

The drive continues through the end of March, and we can’t wait to see how much more we can collect together!

Another winter weather event, another incredible reminder of the dedication, teamwork, and heart that make Annie Penn Hospital truly special.
While the community was digging out of the snow, our team was digging deep, showing up, stepping in, supporting one another, and keeping our patients safe and cared for every step of the way. From clinical teams to support services, every department played a vital role in keeping things running smoothly despite the storm outside.
Thank you to each and every team member who braved the cold, adjusted schedules, stayed overnight, and continued to bring warmth and compassion to those who needed it most.

Huge shoutout to the incredible Annie Penn Hospital team who showed up, stayed overnight, covered extra shifts, and supported one another during this recent inclement weather 💙❄️

We had team members who braved the roads, some who spent the night to ensure continuous care, and leaders right alongside them—staffing units, rounding, and jumping in wherever help was needed. Every single person we interacted with brought positivity, teamwork, and a true “we’ve got this” spirit.

We know it’s not easy being away from home or working long hours—especially overnight—but your dedication did not go unnoticed. And while we absolutely understand safety comes first, we are beyond grateful for those who could come in and did.

This is what teamwork looks like. This is what heart looks like.
