As Volunteer & Events Coordinator, Kim wears many hats here at Ancora Compassionate Care — organizing events, supporting our volunteers, overseeing The Robin's Nest, and always bringing her signature mix of heart, humor, and hustle to everything she does. 💙

This week, we pause to honor the compassionate presence and quiet strength of our chaplains at Ancora Compassionate Care. In moments of uncertainty, grief, and reflection, they offer comfort, hope, and spiritual grounding to our patients, families, and staff.

Their work is not always seen—but it is always felt. Whether through a prayer, a listening ear, or simply sitting in silence, our chaplains embody the heart of our mission: to be a supportive presence for life's journey.

We are grateful to Linwood Carver, Kerri Miller, and Hunter Thompson for walking alongside those in need with grace and empathy. You are a vital part of our care team, and we are grateful for all you do.

When you or someone you love needs hospice care, it can be one of life’s hardest moments. But here’s something so important to know:

👉 You have the right to choose who provides your hospice care.

Even if you or your loved one are hospitalized outside Rockingham County — in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, or anywhere else — you can still ask for Ancora Compassionate Care and Gibson House.

Choosing Ancora means coming home for care — surrounded by familiar faces, local support, and people who care for you like family.

So remember:
✅ You have the right to choose your hospice provider.
✅ You can ask for Ancora Compassionate Care and Gibson House, even if hospitalized elsewhere.
✅ You deserve to come home for care, close to those you love.
