Hello! Summer is here and lessons are busy with new riders and continuing riders. We are very grateful for our volunteers as they are the backbone of our organization. New volunteers are needed to help our team. We are looking for new volunteers to help side aid with riders Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 4:30 through to 7 pm. Please visit our website at TriangleTR.org and look for the volunteer form PDF tab.
Message us here for any questions. Volunteers will be asked to shadow before starting their training to experience what all is involved. Appropriate footwear and walking in the sand and outside in the grass is required. If you are looking to meet new people, get some exercise, and help people in our community with special needs, join our team. We offer training and a purposeful experience.

Please join us in congratulating Kevin Michaels on his remarkable achievement of graduating from Penn State. Kevin began his journey with our organization and the Lebanon VA Medical Center through our Veterans Program three years ago. Following his completion of the equine program, he volunteered for over 1,000 hours. He then pursued further education, earning his degree in Psychology from Penn State Berks. This spring, Kevin completed an internship with our organization, volunteering an additional 150 hours while maintaining his Dean's List status, exemplifying his exceptional work ethic and professionalism. He demonstrated outstanding leadership by guiding the veterans group for the past 12 weeks and assisting with lessons. We invite you to join us in congratulating Kevin on his outstanding accomplishments and commitment to academic excellence. In the fall, Kevin will continue his academic pursuits at Alvernia University, working towards his Master's degree in Counseling and Social Work. Congratulations, Kevin! We will be hosting a graduation party in his honor on Saturday evening at 6 PM and invite you to join us in celebrating this momentous occasion.

Today marked the culmination of our recent veteran group program. Participants engage with us for six weeks, after which a new cohort begins. I must emphasize that working with veterans is a profound privilege. Both our volunteers and I appreciate the enthusiasm, expressiveness, and rapid learning that characterize our groups. Today's opening question, focused on next steps and post-program plans, proved to be an excellent conversation starter. We are truly fortunate to have the opportunity to create positive impact and drive meaningful change, even if it is one individual or small group at a time. We extend our sincerest gratitude to our volunteers, whose dedication and commitment make each day and week possible.

Really proud of our veterans groups in the successes they make. There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are when they continue to volunteer and help others. Each act of service and kindness helps promote positive change.

We are looking for volunteers willing to be trained to side aid and lead in the lessons Tuesdays 4:30- 6:46 pm and Thursdays 4:30-7:15 pm.
Volunteers to groom and tack up prior to the lessons also wanted.
