Welcome to The Reno Scoliosis Group, where We Got Your Back! We are a local support group for kids, teens, and young adults who have scoliosis and need to talk to someone about a diagnosis, back issues, physical therapy, support, advice, or just someone who understands what you are going through. We are not doctors, we are a community of patients who are working to help others, especially children and teens who have been told they have scoliosis and are here to support them through their journeys.
This is a private group that will not tolerate foul language, mean posts, or threats of any kind. We will all be respectful towards one persons choice about their back and how they feel. We will together make sure we are all kind and supportive. Once again, We Got Your Back!
How we got started:
I myself was diagnosed with scoliosis and had a spinal fusion in 1986. My daughter was diagnosed at the age of 11, has been wearing a back brace, and going to Scroth physical therapy.
Together our mission is to help as many kids in the Reno area as we can have hope knowing that everything WILL BE OKAY!!
