Pinnacle Medical Group is seeking a qualified Call Center Medical Assistant.

As our call center medical assistant, duties include providing assistance and guidance to our call center representatives, triaging higher acuity calls, assists with prescription refills, help patients with medical questions, answer incoming phone calls, and address patient call backs.

Additional qualifications to perform the job successfully are knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 codes, and be comfortable navigating an EHR system. Applicants must have completed an accredited medical assistant program and come to the position with one year experience.

As part of our call center team, members are responsible for answering inbound calls, scheduling patient appointments, collecting patient demographic information, routing calls, and act as a liaison between patients and our Pinnacle Medical Group offices. Additional duties may include light office work to support the Pinnacle Medical Group operations. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a professional demeanor when interacting with patients, solid written and organizational skills, attention to details, and a knowledge of basic computer equipment. Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent. Medical terminology is preferred as well.

Pinnacle Medical Group is hiring for a Lead Medical Intake!

Responsibilities and duties of the lead medical intake include management of front office clinical staff, oversite of clinic schedules, management of staff call outs, PTO requests, and ensure adequate clinic coverage. Lead intakes will also perform weekly inventory checks, place weekly supply orders, oversee staff training, coordinate monthly meetings, provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports of clinic operation performance, and manage patient concerns.

Additional duties do include operation of an EMR system, some cash handling, and provide general support to the intake team.

Ideal candidates should come to the position with 5 years of experience in a medical office setting.

As a medical records specialists, job duties will include electronically filing patient records and medical information, maintaining accurate patient records, issue and process incoming and outgoing patient records requests, ensure files are processed in a timely fashion, and perform quality checks as needed. Medical records specialists must be able to adhere to privacy standards, understand, and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities include processing patient referrals to specialty care, verifying patient benefit coverage, and obtaining prior authorizations for procedures, scans, and medications. Additional duties may include data entry, collection of patient demographic information, gathering of important clinical documentation, and act as the liaison between the insurance company and Pinnacle Medical Group.

Ideal candidates should have some familiarity with ICD-10 codes, CPT codes, commercial insurance plans, Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans, self-pay, and Medicaid plans. Candidates must be comfortable operating basic office equipment as all communication between insurance companies and medical offices will be conducted via phone, fax and email.

Minimum requirements for employment are a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in a medical office, hospital, billing, or insurance company setting.

Pinnacle Medical Group is searching for a Clinic Manager to join our growing practice!

As a Clinic Manager, candidates will be in a supervisory role of the back office team, will be responsible for maintaining CLIA lab certification, ordering of back office and clinic supplies, manage vaccine stock and VFC's, handle employee call-outs, and work well with medical providers to help with normal clinic functions. Additional duties will include some HR responsibilities such as recruitment and onboarding of new hires, disciplinary action, carry out of company trainings, and managing payroll.

Candidates should have a basic understanding of common medical equipment and procedures such as ultrasound, ECHO's, EKG's, and in-house labs. Applicants should also come to the position with a strong understanding of HIPPA, an entry level knowledge of EHR systems, good leadership abilities, and have effective communication skills.

Ideal applicants will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent, be a certified medical assistant, and have five years of experience in a managerial role.

It's back to school week! We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and is excited for the school year to start. As the kids head back to school, it's important to not forget to add sports physicals and immunizations to the to-do list.
