After your Forever Young BBL® laser treatment, be sure to avoid the following:
- Avoid picking, scrubbing, or exfoliating the treated skin to prevent scarring and infection. Even though your skin may be flaking, let it fall off on its own
- Stay out of direct sun for at least 2-4 weeks, and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect your skin as it heals
* Sun exposure after a laser can cause hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation *
- Avoid getting excessively sweaty for 24-48 hours after your laser. This can increase redness, welling and discomfort.
- Avoid harsh ingredients like retinol, glycolic acid, and salicylic acid for 7 to 10 days
Be sure to drink plenty of water because your skin looks its best when you are hydrated! 💧
BBLs are an amazing maintenance treatment to fight common signs of aging like sun damage, skin laxity, redness, scarring, and dullness.
