You know what’s frustrating?
Being able to do something easily one day…
and then not being able to start it at all the next.
Same task.
Same person.
Completely different experience.
That inconsistency trips a lot of people up.
But for many adults with ADHD,
it’s not inconsistency in effort.
It’s inconsistency in access.
Access to focus.
Access to energy.
Access to starting.
And when that access isn’t there…
pushing harder usually isn’t the answer.
Not because you don’t care.
Not because you’re not trying.
But because your brain isn’t able to meet you there in that moment.
And that’s a very different problem to solve.
