Our God is an Awesome God! As you all know we have been on a 3 month watch and wait while we waited to obtain health insurance, this past week Steve had his CT scan done and although it did show a tiny bit of growth it was nothing to be concerned about so we are going to do another 6 months of watch and wait! Praise God! You guys.....4 months ago chemo was being forced down our throats and today they say we are at a stage where we can wait because his cancer hasn't progressed to the point of needing chemo urgently! Yes he needs chemo but not today! I feel like all the prayers worked! We stressed to the point where well we had no choice but to just give it to God and we did. Here we are! Putting our faith right where it needs to be! Amen! Please continue to pray for us! We don't know what our future looks like but today no chemo! Xoxo

Wanted to give everyone an update: We applied for a grant through phizer that would've alleviated the majority of the cost associated with one of the drugs he needs and we found out a few days ago we were denied :( so yeah that sucked....we were so hopeful because we fit all the criteria so it doesn't make any sense why? I am going to try and call? Anyhow we continue to TRUST GOD through this process. We know he will provide! Please keep sharing our go fund me! Health insurance costs are just as expensive as chemotherapy (how ironic) but at least we have some coverage in case something else were to happen. Ease our minds at the very least. Steve continues to be in great health. He is not showing any "B" symptoms. We know what to watch for and will get back to the doctor if we need to. Until then we are living our bests lives! We love you all and thank you for being by our sides sending well wishes, texts, calls, love, prayers, you name it we appreciate it!

Good Morning friends and family! Steve and I made a decision yesterday after meeting with his oncologist. We have decided to postpone chemotherapy treatments until next year. This will give us some time to figure out our finances and see if we can afford medical insurance during open enrollment! We applied to get one of the drugs free and should be approved by next week! This drug is the most expensive so if we are approved this would take a huge chuck off our overall costs. So we have 3 months to do our fundraiser, go fund me, silent auction, and candy sales! Remember anything helps and we need your help to spread the word! We still have medical cost leading up to the chemo day. We need to have scans done and several doctor visits between now and then. Steve continues to be pain free and in good health! One new development for us is we can feel his lumps now? Could've always but not sure? Please continue to pray for us! Add us to prayer groups. Share our story! We know God has us ♡♡♡

Steve and I THANK YOU for being here! Your love and support is appreciated more than you will ever know. A few weeks ago Steve was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called NLPHL. He is currently at Stage 3A. Feel free to do some research of your own for any specific details you may be interested in. In our case the cancer has not entered his organs or his bone marrow! Praise GOD! He is also not showing any of the "B" symptoms!!! He is a very healthy, active man! This is of course the best case scenario. His cancer has a 92% cure rate at the current stage! We are not insured and chemotherapy is very expensive. Our oncologist is recommending we start chemotherapy next week, however we would need funds upfront with our medical discount plan "access to healthcare" in order to proceed. We were quoted $7200 every 21 days for 18 weeks for a total of 6 cycles ($43,200) just for chemo. This is not including at home medications or the surgical procedure to place his port that is scheduled for September 12th which are several thousand dollars as well. This will be several years of financial hardships so we are trying all the things to help us raise funds so we can kick cancers ass this time. We lost our battle with Steve's mother in March of this year and our family can not loose him too. We are going to start a go fund me, have a silent auction, sell candy bars, get donations, sell our things....whatever it takes! If you have any ideas please let us know! We would love all the prayers, shares, and love! We have a lot on our plates right now. I understand what a shock this will be to a lot of you. Please allow us some time to figure out what the next few months of our lives look like. We don't have the answers and are quite frankly lost right now but will do our best to keep this page updated for everyone on our journey!
