Just because we may have been taught to "deal with it", not talk about it, and/or stuff our painful emotions in a lockbox and bury it doesn't mean we have to continue functioning in that way. Its time to change how mental health and mental health care is treated in the healthcare setting.

Trust is like a light switch. The slider kind. Some days our trust in ourselves and others is stronger and other days its not. The slider can move depending on the situation. When we view trust in this way, we can focus our attention on what we need in that moment to move the slider up.
