Since 1986, we have provided a safe, supportive space and an effective program to help women in our community get and stay clean and sober.

Our 2025 Jingle & Mingle Gala was a tremendous success — together, we raised over $400,000 in vital funds to support the women and families we serve here in Reno. We shattered all previous fundraising records for this event, and we’re still floored by the outpouring of support!

STEP2 experienced the gift of music this morning with a beautiful visit from the Discover Music Program. They brought the joy of harp music to our families, spending time with the women living on campus and their children. 🎶💛

We learned about the history of the harp and its angelic sound, filling our space with calm, connection, and curiosity. Moments like these remind us how healing and uplifting the arts can be for women on their recovery journey.

We were honored to welcome the Indian School to campus yesterday as they taught our residential women the First People’s tradition of Zahn Natizu Good Medicine Pouch making. Together, we learned Nei Disua — “I am brave.”

We are deeply grateful to the Stewart Indian School l for sharing their time, teachings, and this beautiful cultural tradition with our STEP2 community of women in recovery.

We’re so grateful to the Reno Elks Lodge #597 for awarding STEP2 a $6,000 Beacon Grant! Thanks to their incredible generosity, we were able to restock essential items like furniture, kitchen and cleaning supplies, baby items, bedding, towels, and craft materials — all of which directly support the women and families we serve.
