We hit our 200th oblique lateral MIS TLIF case today.
This is not your grandfather's TLIF!
Many thanks to my PAs, the rad techs, scrub techs, circulators and reps. It takes a team and I am blessed to be surrounded by consistency and enthusiasm. That's our team down below!
By combining NAV and the right implants we've been blown away how well our patients have done. 23 hour stay is a good thing.
We will publish what we learned in 2026- some very interesting findings.

The Medtech Conference sponsored by Advamed in San Diego is a wrap for me. Met old friends like Eric S. Heinz and made new friends like Dr Harpal Singh Malhotra MD, pMBA, MDP, Exec. Education. Presented for SpinePoint . It was amazing seeing the new tech in the horizon. Awesome networking. Physicians need to broaden their horizons and go to meetings that are not right on our wheelhouse.
Also got to listen to Arnold Schwarzenegger. My childhood hero. Sharp as a tack and 100%inspirational.
