Let’s not sit here and pretend that yoga will erase the world’s problems. However- acknowledging that we’re not okay is a great first step.
Often we don’t even notice the discomfort we’re in before we move quickly into impulse by reaching for our phones, tablets, shopping, or other addictions.
Yoga offers self-reflection and a steady gaze inward toward the soul. It offers the gut-wrenching reality that maybe we are in fact, not okay.
Being in pain, grief or discomfort isn’t to be taken lightly but can offer a reflection guiding you towards your own inner healing. I can’t say what that is- only you can discover your truth on your own time.
