The fall colors always remind me of change. Life is always changing, and 2020 has been, and continues to be a year of massive change. Being in nature helps me to recalibrate my nervous system, and remember that when I feel off balance, it’s important for me to come back to the moment and pay attention to my breath. I hope that as we embark on the coming weeks you find peace in your breath, nature, or whatever brings you comfort.

We have been asked to hit the PAUSE button on the busyness of our lives. We are moving into a new way of living, and a new world. A world that asks us to shift from DOING to BEING. This shift can be very uncomfortable as the habit energy of doing has been so strong, and so much a part of our lives that you may feel very uncomfortable right now, and that’s perfectly ok. When feeling discomfort, anger, fear, frustration, etc. - take time to STOP.

S- STOP
T-Take a breath
O-Observe your feelings/sensations in the body
P- Proceed

By taking time to PAUSE and feel our emotions we can become more connected to the life that is in front of us.
