We focus on inpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy with 24-hour skilled nursing care. Life Care Center of Reno is a part of Life Care Centers of America which operates more than 200 skilled-nursing homes, assisted-living facilities, retirement living communities, home care services and Alzheimer's centers. Life Care Center of Reno’s in-house rehabilitation and nursing team creates personalized treatment plans for each patient and resident, focusing on individual needs and goals. Our facility has a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. What does Occupational Therapy look like❓

It looks like someone practicing how to button a shirt again. 👔 Rebuilding the strength and dexterity to hold a coffee cup. ☕ Rehearsing the motions to prepare a simple meal and learning to use a reacher to safely pick things up without bending 🫳.

During Occupational Therapy Month, we’re celebrating the amazing therapists who help our rehab patients rebuild confidence, independence, and the skills that make daily life meaningful. 🫶
