Renown Children's Miracle Network In 1985 Renown Children's Hospital became a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. It has the region's only Children's ER and Pediatric ICU.

We are the only not for profit children’s hospital in northern Nevada. Funds raised by CMNH business partners and programs stay local and support local children. Renown Children's Hospital is the only children's hospital in northern Nevada and offers a variety of programs and services designed specifically to care for families in our community. Renown Children's Hospital is also the only hospital

affiliated with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) in the region and local CMN Hospitals' programs and events directly benefit children in northern Nevada.

Every August, Marriott International and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals serve up root beer floats to celebrate a tradition that began in 1927, when J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott opened a root beer stand in Washington, D.C. - the beginning of what would become the Marriott we know today.

Now it’s Reno’s turn to celebrate this sweet tradition! Join us at Courtyard by Marriott Reno on August 6th from 4–6 PM to make a donation and enjoy a float, all in support of kids like Shaylie at Renown Children's Hospital.

Thank you to RE/MAX Professionals for hosting a happy hour to help their agents better understand how their donations support Renown Children's Hospital through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Guests heard powerful stories, learned how funds are used, and saw how local support keeps care close to home for families in northern Nevada. Thanks to our generous community, the number of children needing to leave the region for care has dropped from 30% to just 3%.
