BOO! 👻 Did we scare you?

(Just kidding, only friendly ghosts here🫶!)

At Quest, we believe therapy shouldn’t be spooky.💬✨

Our team may look ghostly today, but behind the sheets are real people who care deeply about helping others heal.💙

This Halloween, don’t let fear haunt your mental health. Reach out, we promise we don’t bite. 😉🎃

Ever wonder what your counselor is really thinking? 👀

Karen’s mind is full of things she loves: her children, her husband, her colleagues here at Quest, her pets, the chill of a winter morning, and a snowshoe trail around Lake Tahoe. She’s a lover of mysteries fantasy, and sci-if and can quote both Shakespeare and Star Trek. She cheers for the Reno Aces and the Washington Nationals, dreams of faraway places like Ireland and Italy, and treasures simple joys like pink Converse sneakers and sober fun.

But at the heart of it all, Karen’s passion lies in helping others heal. As a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor, she brings empathy, humor, and deep understanding to every person she meets. Her own curiosity and love of learning (she’s a proud UNR grad!) guide her in supporting people through their recovery journeys.

This October, during Substance Use & Misuse Prevention Month, we’re our amazing clinicians like Karen who are changing lives in our community. 💙

1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men experience domestic violence in their lifetime.

Abuse isn’t always physical — it can look like control, isolation, manipulation, or fear.

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we’re standing with survivors, advocates, and our community to break the silence. If you see the signs, reach out. If you’re hurting, you’re not alone. 💜

Life at Quest lately 💙

✨ From classrooms to community stages, Quest has been everywhere lately — and we’re loving every second of it!

Lately we’ve been busy:
🎓 supporting youth at schools and local events
🏆 celebrating community change-makers
🤝 participating in resource fairs & partnering with local businesses

We joined with
🕯️ to raise awareness for International Overdose Day at their No Stigma, No Shame speaker night
🏳️‍🌈 to celebrate love
💙 to spread support the Youth Mental Health Summit
🏃 to celebrate recovery at their annual 5k!

Every event is a chance to connect, share hope, and strengthen our community. 💛 Thanks to everyone who stopped by, cheered us on, or shared space with us — together, we’re making Nevada healthier and stronger.

Meet Taylor — therapist 🧠, dog mom 🐶, knick knack collector 🧸, and one of the kindest humans we know 💛. Whether she’s riding bikes with her pups, sipping on tea, or helping clients reach meaningful, bite-sized goals, Taylor brings heart, humor, and incredible care to everything she does. She’s also a soccer player, sticky note enthusiast, and fan of “relaxing” giant monster movies 🎥🦈🤖 (yes, The Meg and Pacific Rim count as self-care!).

Taylor’s always been passionate about mental health, and we’re endlessly grateful for her dedication, care, and kindness. She’s the type of teammate who makes the whole place feel brighter ✨ — and the type of therapist who makes a lasting difference.

We’re so lucky to have her on the Quest team 🤝 — her compassion and love for what she does makes a difference every single day ❤️.
