🎥 Behind the Scenes at Reno Tahoe Pain Associates, we had the pleasure of treating Mike Alger, the beloved former Chief Meteorologist at KTVN Channel 2, who visited our office for an epidural injection to relieve his sciatica pain.Mike has spent decades helping our community prepare for storms and sunshine alike—and today, we were honored to help him find some relief from the storm of nerve pain. 🌤️Sciatica can be debilitating, but with targeted, image-guided procedures like an epidural steroid injection, patients often experience significant improvement in their pain and function.Thank you, Mike, for trusting us with your care and allowing us to share a part of your journey. 🎬 Behind the Scenes: Raising Awareness About SI Joint DysfunctionWe recently had the privilege of filming an educational video with the SI-BONE team at our clinic, focused on one of the most underdiagnosed yet treatable causes of lower back pain , sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction. Many patients living with chronic pain are misdiagnosed or left without clear answers. Our goal with this video is simple: raise awareness about the SI joint, help patients and providers better understand the pathologies, and highlight evidence-based treatment options including minimally invasive SI joint fusion.What made this shoot even more meaningful was including one of our patients who shared their powerful journey of log following SI joint fusion. Their success story reminds us that accurate diagnosis + the right intervention = restored function and renewed quality of life. Grateful to SI Bone for helping us spotlight this important topic and to our amazing patient for courageously sharing their story. An Emotional Thank You: Best of Reno 2025

Last night was one of those unforgettable moments.

We were honored to receive Best Pain Practice in Reno for the 4th year in a row and, for the first time, Best Urgent Care in Reno through the Community Choice Awards.

This is deeply emotional for all of us. When we founded United Pain Urgent Care, it was the first of its kind in the entire United States a bold vision to treat pain as urgently and compassionately as any other medical emergency. We believed then, as we do now, that pain shouldn’t have to wait.

To see that vision not only recognized, but embraced by our community, is incredibly humbling.

From day one, our mission has been clear:

🚫 Avoid unnecessary opioids.
✅ Deliver fast, high-quality, evidence-based relief.
