The natural beauty of Reno and Lake Tahoe is unmatched, but what truly makes this place special are the people. There’s a unique joy in being able to help our neighbors find relief, restore function, and return to enjoying the life and scenery that make this region so extraordinary.

🎤 In continuation of my ongoing effort to raise awareness about non-opioid treatment options, I had the pleasure of speaking at an educational event hosted by Vertex Pharmaceuticals about Journavx, a non-opioid medication for moderate to severe acute pain in adults.

It was a privilege to connect with the dedicated nurse practitioners and Nevada Advanced Practice Nurses Association, who play such an important role in patient care and pain management.

Along with our mission at United Pain Urgent Care — the first pain urgent care in the U.S. — we remain committed to educating clinicians and the community about safer, effective, and innovative approaches to managing pain.

Together, we can continue moving toward a future where patients receive timely and effective relief while minimizing dependence on opioids.
