Cancer Community Clubhouse (CCC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit survivorship center based in Sparks and Reno, Nevada focused on connection, healing, and empowerment for anyone affected by cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones. CCC fills a gap in post-diagnosis community support by offering programs that enhance emotional well-being, social connection, and healthy living, not medical care or treatment advice.

Survivor Saturday…. 💕

There was a moment they don’t talk about much.

Not the diagnosis day.
Not the bell-ringing day.
But the quiet one in between.

The day they sat alone in their car, hands shaking, staring at the steering wheel, wondering how life could split so cleanly into before and after.

Before cancer.
After cancer.

They showed up to treatment on days their body felt wrecked and their spirit felt thinner than their veins. They smiled for nurses when they wanted to cry. They reassured everyone else while privately wondering if they were strong enough to keep going.

There were nights filled with fear, exhaustion, and unanswered questions.
And mornings where simply getting out of bed felt like an act of rebellion.

But somehow, through every infusion, every scan, every moment of doubt, they kept choosing one more step forward.

Not because they weren’t afraid.
