Exciting news: Western Surgical Group will begin seeing patients at our brand-new, standalone facility on 10/28/2025! This larger space opens the door to expanded services and even better care for our community. OUR NEW ADDRESS: 18653 Wedge Parkway, Reno, NV 89511.

The new location features a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center, Galena Surgical Center, proudly 100% physician-owned, giving us more flexibility and focus on what matters most — you.

Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer — but early detection saves lives! Use the ABCDE rule to check your moles and spots:

A – Asymmetry: One half doesn’t match the other.
B – Border: Edges are irregular, ragged, or blurred.
C – Color: Multiple colors or uneven shades.
D – Diameter: Larger than 6mm (about the size of a pencil eraser).
E – Evolving: Changes in size, shape, or color over time.

If you notice anything suspicious, don’t wait. Schedule a skin check with your doctor or dermatologist.
