“Never good enough” isn’t a personality flaw.
It’s what happens when you grow up feeling like you had to earn your place.

So now you: • feel like a burden
• overthink everything you say
• try to be “better” so you don’t get rejected
• still feel like you don’t quite fit anywhere

That voice didn’t come from nowhere.
It came from an environment where being yourself didn’t feel like enough.

You’re not too much.
And you were never not enough—you just adapted.

Which one hit you the most?

The “I don’t need anyone” identity usually wasn’t a choice.
It was built in environments where your needs weren’t consistently met.
It protects you.
But it can also keep you alone.
If this one hit, you’re not broken—you adapted.

Ever feel like you live in your head but feel disconnected from your body?
That’s not random—it’s something many people learned early on to stay safe.
But you don’t have to stay there.
Try this: pause for a moment and notice one sensation in your body.
I’m curious—do you tend to live more in your head or your body? Tell me below 👇

There are things from childhood that don’t just “stay in the past.”
They show up in your relationships, your body, your reactions… even when life looks okay on the outside.

“Why do I react like this?”
This workshop is for you.

Join me for a 4-hour, experiential trauma + attachment workshop designed to help you begin understanding what’s underneath your patterns—and how to start shifting them.

Most people don’t realize this…

The way you cope today
might have saved you at one point.

But it might also be what’s keeping you stuck.
In NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), we call these patterns adaptive survival styles.

They’re not flaws.

They’re strategies your nervous system learned early on.

You might recognize yourself in one of these:
• You push people away → but secretly want connection
• You over-give → and feel invisible or resentful
• You stay numb → because feeling is overwhelming
• You rely only on yourself → and struggle to trust others
• You chase perfection → to feel worthy

These aren’t personality traits.

They’re adaptations to early environments.

And here’s the important part:
👉 You don’t heal them by thinking harder
👉 You don’t heal them by forcing change

You heal them through safe, relational experiences

This is why I use equine-assisted therapy.

Horses don’t respond to your story.

They respond to your nervous system.

Out at the barn, we can gently explore:
• how you relate
• where you disconnect
• what your body does in real time

No pressure. No pretending. No performing.
Just honest feedback and space to shift.

If you’ve done the work…
and something still feels “off” in your relationships, your body, or your sense of self—
this might be the missing piece.

Sobriety doesn’t fix everything.

Maybe you’re sober—but still feel stuck.

Maybe relationships keep bringing up the same patterns.

Maybe you understand your past, but your nervous system hasn’t caught up.

This is the kind of work I focus on—trauma, attachment wounds, and recovery.

I have a few openings:
🐴 Every other Friday at 10 AM (equine therapy at the barn)
🛋️ Fridays at 2 PM (in-office)
🛋️ Every other Wednesday at 4 PM (in-office)
This is a good fit for people who are ready to explore what’s underneath—not just manage symptoms.

DM me to schedule a session!

Horses live in the present moment.🐎

Their nervous systems are grounded, attuned, and honest — and being around them can help us begin to feel that safety in our own bodies.

For many people healing from complex trauma, words aren’t always enough.

Sometimes regulation is experienced through connection, movement, and quiet presence.
Horses don’t judge your past.

They respond to your energy, your pace, and your willingness to show up just as you are.
Healing can start with something as simple as standing beside a regulated being and letting your nervous system remember what calm feels like.

Equine therapy sessions are available. Several insurances including Medicaid accepted.

Meet my newest co-therapist 🤍
This is Blondie. She doesn’t sugarcoat. She doesn’t overthink. She doesn’t respond to people pleasing.
She responds to regulation.
She responds to clarity.
She responds to congruence.
That’s why equine-assisted therapy is so powerful for trauma and recovery work.
Horses are nervous-system experts. They mirror what’s happening beneath the surface — the anxiety, the guardedness, the parts that are working overtime to protect you.
In sessions, we don’t just “work with a horse.”
We work with patterns.
Boundaries.
Attachment.
Self-trust.
And horses have a way of teaching those things faster than words ever could.
If you’re curious about equine-assisted trauma therapy, reach out.
This might be the most honest relationship work you ever do.

If you’re pi**ed off at someone you love because of addiction — this👏 is👏 for👏 you👏.

Not the “gentle understanding” version.
Not the “just set boundaries” advice that goes nowhere.

This is for the people who are angry and still care.
I’m running a 6-week guided workshop for loved ones of people with addiction focused on how to be supportive without shame, control, or constant blowups — and how to respond in ways that actually make treatment more likely.

You don’t have to be calm.
You don’t have to have it figured out.
You don’t have to do this alone.

💔 Loving someone in active addiction is exhausting.

The constant worry.
The second-guessing.
The feeling that no matter what you do, it’s never quite right.

If you’re walking on eggshells…
if your nervous system never really gets to rest…
if you’re trying to help but feel like you’re losing yourself in the process —
You’re not failing.
You’re responding to something incredibly hard.

✨ I’m offering a live, skills-based class specifically for parents, partners, and family members of someone in active addiction right now.
Not someday.
Not after treatment.
Now.
You don’t have to do this alone.

🌿 Beyond Sobriety: A Therapist-Led Healing Circle for People in Recovery 🌿

You removed the substance…
But the pain is still there.
The shame. The triggers. The emptiness. The part of you that still doesn’t feel whole — even after all the hard work to get clean.

If you’re in recovery and wondering, “Why do I still feel this way?”
You’re not alone — and nothing is wrong with you.

The substance wasn’t the problem.
It was the solution… to something deeper.

💔 The unprocessed grief.
💔 The wounds from childhood.
💔 The belief that you’re not worthy of love unless you perform, achieve, or disappear.

Beyond Sobriety is a 10-week therapist-led self-inquiry group designed for people in active recovery who are ready to go deeper.

Using body-based awareness, Compassionate Inquiry, and gentle parts work, we’ll explore the emotional patterns and early wounds that drive relapse and keep us disconnected from ourselves.

This is real therapy.
It’s honest. Raw. Deep.
And it’s held in a safe, supportive space with others who get it.

✨ Suggested donation: $20/week
✨ No one turned away for lack of funds
✨ Meets weekly via Zoom for 1 hour — starts once 6 participants are confirmed

If you're ready to do the deeper work that sobriety alone can't touch…
I'd be honored to hold space for you.

My mission is to create safe, accessible spaces where people in recovery can heal from the inside out. Through self-inquiry, connection, and trauma-informed support, NV Trauma Therapy aims to reduce relapse and restore hope in the face of the opioid epidemic.
