Northern Nevada Hyperbarics Inc.

Northern Nevada Hyperbarics Inc. Northern Nevada Hyperbarics Inc is located on the Renown Campus. 25+ years of operation. We are the first Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy center in Northern Nevada.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is an AMA and FDA approved medical treatment where a patient inhales 100% oxygen under pressure to speed and enhance the body's natural ability to heal. Common uses include treatment of non-healing wounds, Infections, Late Effects of Radiation plus there are many exciting new uses. Let our caring Certified Hyperbaric Physicians and Certified Hyperbaric Specialists

assist you with your healing. We are located on the Main Renown Campus. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Our newest blog, Why Oxygen Matters for Wound Healing, is now live. 🫧

Wound healing is a complex process—and oxygen plays a critical role every step of the way. In this article, we explore how Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) supports tissue repair, circulation, and recovery in wounds that may struggle to heal on their own.

In celebration of Hyperbaric Awareness Month, we’re excited to announce that our blog (and our first blog post) are officially live. 🫧

Our goal is to create a space where patients, families, and our community can learn more about Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, the science behind oxygen and healing, and the growing role HBOT plays in modern recovery and wellness.

This is just the beginning.

May is officially recognized as Hyperbaric Awareness Month, highlighting the growing role HBOT plays in modern medicine and recovery.

As awareness continues to grow, more hospitals, recovery centers, and medical programs across the country are integrating Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy into patient care plans for wound healing, radiation injury, carbon monoxide poisoning, and more.

The conversation around oxygen-based healing continues to evolve—and we’re proud to be part of it.

One HBOT session can increase oxygen delivery temporarily—but healing is a process, not a switch.

Many conditions benefit from a series of treatments because oxygen-driven repair happens over time. Repeated sessions help support:

âś” New blood vessel growth
âś” Tissue regeneration
âś” Reduced inflammation
âś” Long-term healing support

Every treatment plan is personalized based on the patient, condition, and goals.

This is why we have a very strict list of what is allowed in the chamber at our clinic.

Yes, we know that when we tell you everything off and no one takes anything in the chamber we did not provide to you. Our staff is not trying to be difficult with you we are simply putting safety above all else.

We get a lot of questions about medical devices (pacemakers, implants, diabetic monitors). Most of the time these devices have been tested under pressure. We call the manufacturer and make sure it has been tested under pressure making sure our patients safety comes first as well as everyone in the clinic.

** Yes we have had patients decide not to get treatment because of our rules.

When there are no rules people get hurt.

The facility where a hyperbaric chamber fire killed a 5-year-old child “held safety among their lowest considerations,” the Michigan attorney general said.

Yes—when administered properly, HBOT is a safe, controlled, and medically supervised therapy.

Each session takes place in a carefully monitored environment, where pressure levels and oxygen delivery are precisely regulated to ensure both safety and effectiveness.

Before beginning treatment, patients are thoroughly evaluated to determine if HBOT is appropriate for their specific needs. Throughout each session, our team closely monitors your comfort and response to therapy.

âś” Medical screening prior to treatment
âś” Trained professionals overseeing every session
âś” Strict safety protocols and equipment standards

Your safety is always our priority—and your care is always personalized.

Every cell in your body depends on oxygen to function.

When oxygen levels increase, your body is better equipped to repair, regenerate, and recover.

HBOT helps support the survival of compromised grafts and flaps by improving oxygen supply to delicate tissues.

When blood flow is limited, these tissues may struggle to receive the oxygen they need to fully integrate and heal. That’s where Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) can make a difference.

By increasing the amount of oxygen delivered throughout the body, HBOT may help:

âś” Support tissue viability in compromised areas
âś” Promote the formation of new blood vessels
âś” Enhance circulation to healing tissue
âś” Reduce the risk of graft or flap failure

HBOT is often used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan to support healing in complex or high-risk cases.

Condition Spotlight: Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless gas that can quickly become life-threatening by preventing oxygen from reaching vital organs.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is one of the most effective treatments for carbon monoxide poisoning—helping oxygen replace harmful gases in the bloodstream more rapidly than normal breathing alone.

By delivering high concentrations of oxygen under pressure, HBOT can help:

âś” Accelerate the removal of carbon monoxide from the body
âś” Restore oxygen delivery to tissues and organs
âś” Reduce the risk of long-term neurological complications

In emergency and post-exposure settings, timely treatment can make a critical difference in recovery.
