Neptune marketing associates Megan Hill and Dennis Norris, who have become our go-to veteran liaisons, spent the weekend at the American Legion Convention, hosted by the The American Legion, Department of Florida in Tampa and co-sponsored by Neptune Society.
They met with veterans and their families, and raffled off an iPad. The lucky winner was Jennifer Farmer, Kentucky District 2 President. Congratulations, Jennifer!

Our Neptune Society team just celebrated the first birthday of their pup, Neptune, who has quickly developed a compassionate understanding of how to be there for people in mourning. Neptune marketing associates Megan Hill and Dennis Norris spent the weekend at the Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW National Convention in Columbus, Ohio, co-sponsored by Neptune Society, meeting with veterans and their families, and were neighbors with our partners, Dignity Memorial.
On Sunday, they raffled off an iPad, and the lucky winner was Louisiana District 9 Commander Mitch Cota. Congratulations, Mitch!

Christmas in July? Yes, please! 🎄 Neptune Reno Service Manager Sadie Quartucci attended a Christmas in July mixer, hosted by the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino with the Reno+Sparks Chamber of Commerce and their partners. There was a Nevada Wolf Pack Cheerleaders rally, a dance team, and lots of fun holiday food and drinks for community partners!

Neptune Reno Service Manager Sadie Quartucci, and Funeral Directors Jeff Baughn and Denice Carpenter, at the Reno Aces ballgame. The team volunteered to help Nevada Donor Network with organ donor registration, and had some team bonding time watching the Aces play the Sugarland Space Cowboys.

Neptune Reno Funeral Directors Denice Carpenter and Jeff Baughn braved the rain and snow to participate in Wreaths Across America Day at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City.
They joined other citizens, veterans and local funeral homes volunteering to help place wreaths on more than 1,800 veterans’ graves. Closing remarks by Second Lt. Phil Wells, CAP, advised them to "Lay the wreath, stand at attention and give a salute as you say their name, so that they can be remembered again today."
