We would like to introduce Carleen Holland from Northern Nevada Healing Arts. Here is a little more info about her practice:

Carleen Holland is a Licensed Massage Therapist, certified Yoga Instructor, certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist and Integrative Nutrition Graduate.
Carleen’s massage work is rooted in intentional touch, clinical understanding and deep respect for the body’s innate ability to heal. Each session is customized to the individual, blending therapeutic techniques with intuitive assessment to address both physical tension and nervous system balance.
Carleen utilizes a combination of slow deliberate strokes, targeted pressure , and mindful pacing to release muscular restrictions, improve mobility and encourage deep relaxation.
Whether the goal is pain relief, stress reduction, injury recover or overall wellness my approach emphasizes listening to the tissue, adapting pressure appropriately, and working with- not against- the body.
Carleen’s style is best described as theraputic, grounded and restorative. Clients often experience a sense of safety and calm, allowing their muscles and nervous system to fully let go. Sessions are designed not only to relieve immediate discomfort, but also to support long term functional health and resilience.

Fascilitate Joy has started up a new non-profit that is doing the same amazing work they have done over the years for individuals in need. Meet Chris, if you are moved by his story please reach out to the Autistic Resilience Network for more information on how you can help.

Chris lost his mom this year and had to move into a group home.

Chris is dealing with some pretty serious dental issues, including painful oral infections and the complete loss of most of his teeth.

Thankfully Chris’s mom’s long term friend has been helping out. As his now legal guardian, she worked with his dentist to make sure as much of the care as possible is covered by Medicaid. The dentist then cut his own fee from $3,000 down to $1,550.

We’re raising the money - which will go directly to the dentist - because Chris needs to be able to eat comfortably and to not be in constant pain. He’s also expressed his wishes to be in speech therapy where he’s working on being able to enunciate sounds, but this is really hard with his current dental issues.
