When your adorable client packs the doula a basket of snacks because they remembered your infamous “toast story”…🥖

Years ago, I rushed to a birth, forgot to pack food, and thought helping myself to peanut butter toast was fair game. They disagreed. 😂

Pros of being a Doula: Working with incredible, thoughtful, awesome clients. The little things mean so much in this work. 💕

Cons: People forgetting that I am not a unicorn…I do get hungry. And yes, sometimes I might have to raid your pantry when I’ve literally dropped everything to join you in labor.

Wrapped up another amazing 7-week class last night (minus one couple because they just welcomed their sweet babe ✨). These mamas are READY to rock labor, birth & postpartum. 💪❤️

My goal is always that parents walk away feeling confident, strong, loved & empowered. ⚡️

We cover everything you need to know…nutrition, stages of labor, advocacy, interventions, pushing positions, postpartum care, newborn care, breastfeeding (with an IBCLC!), and so much more.

🌿 It’s HBAC/VBAC season. This morning, a sweet little boy was born at home into the arms of his strong and resilient mama. What an honor to witness. 💫

✨ Thinking about a VBAC? ✨
Here’s what you should know:
⭐️ 90% of c-section moms are candidates.
⭐️ 60–80% are successful.
⭐️ Uterine rupture? Less than 1%.
⭐️ VBAC is often safer than a repeat cesarean.

Believe in yourself. Build your team. Hire the doula + midwife. You won’t regret it. 💪💫⁣⁣

Almost 13 years ago, I had the honor of helping welcome doula baby #10 into the world. I’ll never forget his dad telling me, “When C turns 13, you’re going to be invited to his Bar Mitzvah.”

And today, that’s exactly where I ended up — celebrating his incredible milestone. ✨

To make the day even more special, I got to see six other doula babies I’ve supported over the years and we captured the sweetest photo together.

What a full-circle, heart-filling kind of day. 💕

Are you expecting a baby this year? You will always remember the day you gave birth. Come get educated, inspired and prepared for your birth in a supportive, comfortable environment. Bond with your partner, empower yourself, and leave ready for your birth. ✨

I recommend that you register by 20 weeks to reserve your spot and start the classes around 28-30 weeks for the most maximum benefit. 🤰🏻
