During the holiday season, stigma around disabilities can keep families and individuals isolated. Social stigma often creates more barriers than physical ones, but together, we can change that. Volunteering with Carolynn’s Children & Family Foundation means raising awareness and promoting acceptance through education and community events.

By sharing stories, supporting inclusive activities, and helping spread accurate information, you can help break down fears and misunderstandings. This creates a welcoming environment for everyone, especially children with developmental and physical disabilities.

We’re looking for volunteers to join our team — whether you’re interested in organizing events, helping with administration, or joining our fundraising efforts. Your time and support can make a real difference for working moms and families relying on supportive networks this season.

These events are a place for families that have children with disabilities are neurodivergent, special needs, to come relax and enjoy some self care and discussion in a small comfortable environment. These events are cohosted by Charitie Carpenter with My Family Connection!

Sponsoring families through our foundation means providing critical support that helps caregivers take a much-needed break. Here’s what being a Sponsor involves:

1. Connect with families to understand their respite care needs.
2. Help coordinate short-term care providers to give caregivers relief.
3. Monitor each sponsorship's impact and report back to our team.

Time commitment is about 3-5 hours each week, flexible around your schedule.

Join us in supporting families who face complex challenges. As a Program Administrator Volunteer, you'll help guide families through medical, legal, and advocacy needs.

Your duties include:
• Coordinating communication between families and services
• Organizing advocacy events and resources
• Maintaining clear program records

Time commitment: 5-7 hours a week — flexible to fit your schedule.

This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, enjoys sending thoughtful thank-you messages, and wants to make a real impact — even with just a couple hours a week.

What you’ll help with:
