Meet our Arrowhead Ranch Clinic Director, Dr. Leslie Bateman! Dr. Leslie was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her healthcare journey started in 2011, when she became a Professional Massage Therapist. After obtaining a Bachelors in Health Care Administration and Management, she went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport, IA) in 2021, and moved to the Phoenix area.

Dr. Leslie is eager to serve her community! Her passion for helping others drives her to provide unmatched care through a holistic approach that takes into consideration her patient’s individual concerns and health goals. She believes patient education is part of the healing process and encourages you to take your health into your own hands. She is ready to work alongside you to become your healthiest self.

We’d like to welcome Dr. Justin Fotter from our West Sacramento clinic as our new Clinic Director at Elk Grove! He looks forward to serving the Elk Grove community!

Dr. Fotter graduated in 2015 from in San Jose, California. He has worked in multidisciplinary practices dealing with personal injury and workers compensation. He also had experience as a Wellness Director working in San Francisco and led a team of Massage Therapists, Acupuncturists, and Chiropractors. From creating policies to growing his practice, he has involved himself in many aspects of the Chiropractic and the wellness care model.

Dr. Fotter enjoys playing golf, guitar, drums, and exercising in his free time. He believes that self-care is self-respect and that wellness is the key to good health and an active life. He always takes time to listen to his patients and constantly works towards improving Chiropractic care for everyone.

We’re so thrilled for Dr. Jim Handzel to be back as Clinic Director at The Joint Chiropractic’s Camelback location, where he has been for nearly a decade. He has received many accolades during the nearly 30 years he has been in practice. In 2018 he received Doctor of the year, out of 700+ offices from the The Joint Chiropractic Corporate. In 2024 Dr. Jim was named 1 of 3 best Chiropractics In Phoenix by Spine Specialists.

Dr. Jim has boundless enthusiasm for showing and helping people to achieve healthy enjoyable lives. The protocols he delivers are groundbreaking to patients, and are derived from years of personal experience, painstaking and fervent research, as well as working with thousands of patients. He is hopelessly passionate about showing people how to maximize not only the inner and outer health, but the beauty of feeling healthy no matter what a person’s age.
