Purple looks good on us! 💜 We hit our first Alzheimer’s Association fundraising goal, so our Maintenance Director Josh went all-in with a purple beard. Huge thanks to Lisa from the Alzheimer’s Association for joining the fun — every purple step brings us closer to a cure!

🌟 RESIDENT SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Meet Linda, who has been a resident at Mountain Lakes Estates for almost four years!

Linda was born and raised in San Jose, California and throughout her life has spent time in Reno, NV, Pennsylvania and Saudi Arabia, to name just a few. Linda says that she really lives by the motto “whatever goes around comes around.” Linda was married to her husband, who was an accountant with the United States Army, and did Secretary work for 21 years - both here in the states, and for 11 years in Saudi Arabia. Linda and her husband have three boys, who are her pride and joy.

Linda first got into gardening in 1963 when she and her husband first owned their own home. They had vegetables and flowers all over their whole yard, both front and back. One of her favorite memories is that she was able to continue garden in when she was living in Saudi Arabia, where the locals loved her flowers as much as she did! Though Linda plays a key role in keeping up with our gardens here at Mountain Lakes Estates, she says “I don’t really have a green thumb!”
