February is National Heart Month! ♥️ Proclaimed in 1964, it is designated to promote a healthy heart! Whether it be changing your lifestyle with increased exercise, eating foods lower in cholesterol, having your blood pressure checked routinely, taking your blood pressure medication correctly, or simply going to the doctor to ask questions about your risk, every thing is important when it comes to heart health! It has been proven that men and women have different symptoms and onset. Men typically complain of chest pain, whereas women get short of breath more commonly. The onset of cardiovascular disease for men can be 10 years earlier than women. Women have estrogen that protects their heart. It is proven that after menopause a woman’s risk goes up due to lack of three protective hormones: estradiol, progesterone and estrone. Don’t wait until your risk is higher to take care of your heart! Heart health is important EVERY DAY! ♥️

Attention ANYONE with Geisinger Insurance. It has come to our attention that my personal cell phone number, ONCE AGAIN, has been printed onto their insurance cards! If you receive a card with 814-404-5099, THAT IS NOT THE OFFICE NUMBER. Our office number has not changed, it is still 570-927-0865.

Wonderful job this evening, Bucktail Band and Chorus! Thank you for keeping music in your life and working hard to keep it at Bucktail! They are small, but mighty and give 110%! Thank you to the band director and choral director, Ms. Abby Novak for teaching these kids your passion and making it fun!

We were NOT leaving Millbrook Playhouse without this poster! I set a budget and blew it IMMEDIATELY! It was worth EVERY penny of the donation to support these kiddos and their endeavors. Keep sharing and supporting the arts for our youth in order to have this available to them for years to come

We wouldn’t have it ANY other way! Encouraging and involving your child in theatre and the arts is PRICELESS! It makes for an amazingly well-rounded child and encourages their artistic creativity! Millbrook is a place where these junior actors/actresses can feel comfortable and confident in displaying their abilities! Dr. Probst will be attending a medical conference from Wednesday November 5 through Saturday November 8. Someone will be in the office to answer phone calls, take payments and assist with anything else necessary.

Should you have a medical emergency, never delay care and call 911, or go to your NEAREST Emergency Department! 🚑 🏥

Update : Beginning January 1, 2026, we will no longer have Saturday hours. This was a hard decision to make, but our rate of no-shows on Saturdays was becoming overwhelmingly high. We are replacing those hours with some later hours during the week! Stay posted for the days and times that will be added!

For anyone who has United Healthcare MEDICARE ADVANTAGE HMO-POS:

Beginning January 1, 2026: A referral is required for anyone who has this plan to obtain specialty services. There are some exceptions that I will share! Always remember the difference between an HMO and a PPO!

Just some info that may be helpful to anyone with this plan! Insurance can be confusing, but ALWAYS check your plans requirements because you are paying for the coverage! January 1, 2026 will be here before you know it!
