Rensselaer Care Center had an afternoon of coffee and sunshine. ☀️☕

We arranged for Travelin' Tom's Coffee of The Dunes to park at our facility for a couple of hours. They serve a variety of hot, iced, and frozen beverages. 🧋 Residents, family members, and staff all got to order a beverage of their choice. 😋

🌟 Rensselaer Care Center has been celebrating National Skilled Nursing Care Week with a variety of festivities. 🎉

We were fortunate to have Rensselaer Central High School FFA group bring over their animals for a petting zoo. 🐐🦆🐇 Our residents loved petting the animals and chatting with the students on their names and care they require. Thanks, Rensselaer FFA! We appreciate your time and sharing your furry friends with us. 🥰

💐 Each year, we set aside a special week to celebrate our amazing residents and associates and the role that skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities play in senior care.

We care for those who cannot care for themselves. We help rehab patients recover from illness or injury. And we do it all in a series of many moments... ☺️

From assisting a resident with getting dressed in the morning to providing meals, activities, medication administration, help with activities of daily living, and therapy as appropriate, our associates work together to create a full experience of care.
