๐ŸŽƒ Help kids communicate with confidence this Halloween!

Our Lead Speech Language Pathologist, Kelleen Dunley, created special Halloween-themed AAC cards to help children who have difficulty communicating verbally join in the fun of trick-or-treating. These cards include simple prompts like โ€œTrick or Treat!โ€ and โ€œThank you!โ€ so kids can express themselves with confidence and joy.

AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) tools support or replace speech to help everyone share their voice in meaningful ways.

Before founding Thrive ABA Therapy, I was a public school teacher specializing in working with young autistic children. In 2022, I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and witnessed firsthand the positive impact that the interventions and strategies I learned had on my students. Recognizing that many of my students lacked access to high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), I founded Thrive. Our approach applies principles of learning and behavior to teach new skills, fostering significant progress and independence in a joyful and engaging manner. We believe high-quality ABA should be accessible to all, thatโ€™s why we are applying for the Impact Award from Gusto. Gusto
