After dreaming about this for over a decade, I’m finally here…

Staying in a yurt in Montana was one of those dreams I held onto even when it seemed complicated to make happen.

We’re on our way to Yellowstone and this stop is everything I imagined.

Sometimes the things we want most require us to keep looking for the right fit instead of settling for what doesn’t work.

This yurt welcomes our whole family (Marlin included), and that makes the experience even better.

Reconstruction is like this…not giving up on what matters to you, but being patient and persistent until you find what actually works for your real life and real needs.

Speaking of finding what actually works…

The Lighthouse Series starts Monday. Episode 1 is about accepting what you actually need instead of what you think you should need.

🎧 In the meantime you can catch up on Reconstruction Route’s first episode. Link in bio.

PS I’m taking a break from regular posting and will be sharing photos and videos from our adventures in Yellowstone National Park.

🌟 Here’s the thing about late autism diagnosis…

It changes everything and nothing all at once.

I spent 40 years masking without knowing that’s what I was doing.

Built a corporate career while my nervous system was silently screaming.

Thought I was “bad at life” when really I was just doing life as someone else. 💔

Now? I’m rebuilding everything around who I actually am.

This space isn’t for inspiration p**n or toxic positivity.

It’s for women who are tired of performing wellness they don’t feel.

Who need their work to support their healing, not sabotage it.

Who understand that some days are survival days and that’s perfectly valid. 🫂

If you’re reconstructing your life after discovering you’re

Neurodivergent,

Chronically ill,

Experiencing profound grief,

Or just different than you though, you belong here.

Your sensitivity isn’t too much.

Your pace isn’t too slow.

Your needs aren’t inconvenient.

You’re exactly who this community has been waiting for. ✨

I failed miserably when I tried to launch a podcast two years ago.

What I didn’t understand then was that my brain works fundamentally differently than the productivity advice I was trying to follow.

When I launched I had zero episodes banked…

I was creating content in real-time…

I was actively burning out while teaching sustainable practices…

It wasn’t poor planning, it was my neurodiverse nervous system hitting a wall after trying to work in a neurotypical way.

Now I know I didn’t fail at launching a podcast, I learned the valuable lesson that 99% of business advice was never designed for minds and bodies like mine.

That “failure” taught me something no business coach mentions:

When you’re in active reconstruction, success looks completely different.

You can’t build sustainably on a foundation that’s still shifting.

You can’t give guidance from a place you haven’t lived.

Now I understand that my most valuable expertise comes not from having figured it all out…

But from learning to navigate the ongoing reality of rebuilding when everything about your identity, capacity, and body keeps changing.

This is why I’m qualified to guide others through active reconstruction…

Because I’m still in it too.

Reconstruction Route is live now!

Real conversations about rebuilding life and work when the foundation keeps shifting.

Supporting someone through reconstruction means…

Shifting from helping them “get better” to helping them become themselves.

This isn’t recovery from something wrong.

Its emergence into authenticity.

Your role isn’t to fix, advise, or accelerate.

It’s to witness, believe, and hold space.

They’re doing sacred work…excavating their authentic self from underneath survival strategies and conditioning.

Some days they’ll seem different.

Some days they’ll need foreign support.

Some days they can’t give you the same energy.

This isn’t them being difficult.

This is them being brave enough to live authentically.

Your support makes the difference.

Not your solutions, timeline, or expectations.

Your presence, belief in their experience, and willingness to love them as they become.

Nobody tells you that identity reconstruction is archaeology, not renovation.

You’re excavating who you’ve always been underneath layers of who you thought you should be.

It’s messy, non-linear, and lonely.

Your nervous system learns new patterns while grieving old ones.

People resist your changes.

Your professional self struggles to catch up.

But this is sacred work.

Every uncomfortable moment is part of coming home to yourself.

If you’re reconstructing, you’re not doing it wrong.

The timeline is yours.

The pace is yours.

The emerging self is yours.

🎙️Here’s what nobody tells you about world contraction: it’s not punishment…

It’s your nervous system creating exactly the safety you need to figure out who you’re becoming without the mask.

The hardest part isn’t losing the activities or relationships…

It’s grieving the version of yourself who could handle them.

I spent months mourning my pre-diagnosis identity before I realized I wasn’t losing myself, I was finally meeting myself.

If this resonates, you need Episode 4 of Reconstruction Route, ‘When Your World Contracts’ launching September 15th.

Rediscovering the magic of DC after 5 years away ✨

This city has held a special place in my heart since I first wandered around at 13, and sharing it with my husband for the first time felt like seeing it through new eyes.

Museum hopping, monument wandering, and catching up with two lifelong friends made this trip unforgettable.

There’s something about this city that feels both timeless and ever-changing.

As I look through these photos, I’m filled with gratitude but also a strange sense of farewell—to what, I’m not quite sure yet.

Sometimes the most meaningful journeys leave us with questions rather than answers.

✨ Remember when someone told you, “Just make a schedule and stick to it!” and your brain laughed in executive dysfunction?

🌙 For years, I tried following traditional energy management advice that felt like trying to force a square peg into a round hole while wearing a blindfold.

🧠 Wake up at 5 AM! Power through! Just focus harder! Meanwhile, my neurodivergent brain was desperately trying to tell me something different.

📖 These memes? They’re snapshots of my journey from corporate burnout to finally understanding why conventional energy “wisdom” never worked.

💫 Plot twist: The problem was never our energy management - it was trying to follow systems designed for different minds.

🌟 Understanding your neurodivergent brain changes everything. Suddenly, what looked like “poor time management” revealed itself as unmet sensory needs.

🤍 Save this post for when another productivity guru tells you to “just push through.”

✨ Join me this Wednesday at 11:30 AM Pacific for “Beyond Burnout,” - where we’ll talk about mapping our energy patterns, I’ll share my journey from burnout to understanding, and uncover how knowing our neurodivergent brains change everything about how we work and teach.

Drop a 🧩 below and let me know in the comments if these memes hit a little too close to home...

🌟 Can I share something that transformed my entire approach to the yoga business?

💭 It happened during a conversation with a fellow teacher who was supposedly my “competitor.”

🤍 We were both teaching corporate yoga in the same area, and conventional business wisdom said we should view each other as competition.

✨ Instead, we chose collaboration - and it changed everything.

💫 Through our partnership, we discovered that different minds bring unique gifts to the table.

🧩 Her strengths complemented my challenges, and vice versa.

🌿 Together, we served our students better than either of us could alone.

🌱 This experience showed me firsthand that something magical happens when we stop competing and start collaborating.

⭐ Innovation flourishes.

💝 Authentic connections form.

🦋 And fundamental transformation becomes possible.

✨ This Thursday at 11:30 AM Pacific, I’m hosting a special Live session to explore what it truly means to build a yoga industry based on collaboration rather than competition.

🌈 We’ll discuss how different minds bring unique gifts to our community and why rising together creates more possibility than standing alone.

🫱🏻‍🫲🏽 Whether you’re feeling isolated in your teaching journey or dreaming of creating meaningful partnerships, this conversation is for you.

✨ Coming back from my 40th birthday getaway with a plot twist I didn’t expect: clarity.

💎 Quick confession: memes are basically my love language, and I’ve been saving these like precious gems to share with you all.

🌅 You know those moments when everything suddenly clicks into place, and you’re equal parts relieved and devastated? Yeah, that’s where I am.

📖 These memes hit differently now. Each one feels like a page from my story - from masking in corporate boardrooms to finally understanding why traditional business systems never quite fit. (Keep swiping; I promise these will make you feel seen 👉)

🧠 Turns out, what I thought was “just anxiety” or “being too sensitive” for the past 40 years was actually my neurodivergent brain trying to tell me something.

💫 And while I’m grateful for this understanding, I’m also sitting with the grief of all those years spent trying to force myself into boxes that were never meant for me.

🌟 But here’s what I know for sure: Understanding your brain changes everything.

💭 It transforms “too much” into “exactly right.” It turns “Why can’t I just...” into “Oh, THAT’S why.”

🦋 So here I am, stepping into my 40th year with more clarity than ever about who I am and how I can serve our community of neurodivergent yoga teachers.

🌿 You may be on this journey, too.

🤍 Save this post for those days when you need to feel less alone in your discovery.

🧩 Drop a 🧩 in the comments if any of these hit home.

✨ 40 lessons I wish I’d known at 25. At 30. Even last year. 📖

For 40 years, I collected these truths like breadcrumbs, each leading me closer to understanding my neurodivergent mind. 🌱

As I turn 40, I’m sharing the lessons that transformed everything - some came from breaking generational patterns 🔄. Others emerged from building a business my way 🏗️. Many surfaced through teaching yoga to other sensitive souls 🧘🏻‍♀️.

These lessons aren’t just pretty quotes - they’re hard-won wisdom from decades of unlearning what society told me about success. 🎯

This collection isn’t a roadmap - it’s more like field notes from decades of learning to trust my different mind 📝. From discovering that my “weaknesses” are actually my teaching superpowers ⚡ to realizing that true community celebrates our differences instead of demanding conformity. 🌟

Want to dive deeper into how understanding my neurodivergent mind changed everything? My blog post “40 Years to Find My Way Home” awaits you - link in bio. 🤍

Drop a 💫 and share: which of these 40 lessons feels like permission you needed to hear?

🌊 Sometimes, the most revolutionary act is honoring your natural rhythms.

✨ This week, I’ll be celebrating my 40th birthday on the Oregon coast. No bikinis or summer heat - instead, you’ll find me bundled in layers, collecting interesting rocks, and watching waves that follow their own perfect rhythm.

🌿 It feels beautifully fitting to mark this milestone in a place that defies typical beach expectations. After all, my entire journey as a neurodivergent entrepreneur has been about finding my own way of being in business and life.

🎂 While I won’t be hosting our usual Live session next week, I’ve just published something special - “40 Years to Find My Way Home,” a love letter to every different mind who’s ever felt out of step with the world’s rhythm.

💫 Because here’s what I know as I enter my fifth decade: your different way of experiencing the world isn’t wrong. It’s simply, beautifully unique.

📅 Lives will resume January 30th with a special discussion on building community over competition. Save the date!
