In case you haven't heard by now, we are mandated to not have meetings until the Governor removes that restriction. As such the Chiropractic Philosophy Forum will not have a live audience tonight. We will have a presentation, and a camera to record it, but we won't have any docs in the chairs. As soon as the DVD's are prepared by JB Productions, we will be sending them out to all of our annual members and anyone else who calls our office to order one.

The topic tonight:
The Philosophy, Science, and Art of Chiropractic.

The speaker:
Yours truly.

Stay strong and serve on. In the words of the great Winston Churchill: "This too shall pass".

Active in chiropractic affairs, Dr. Schweitzer is a member and two time president of the Washington State Chiropractic Association. He is also a member of the International Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Our next Chiropractic Philosophy Forum meeting will be held on December "9th" at 8 PM at the SeaTac Doubletree Hotel. The Seahawks are playing Monday Night Football on the 2nd so we have moved our meeting back one week do to popular demand. Go Hawks!

Our guest speaker will be Dr. Ankur Tayal.
Dr. Tayal graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2009, where he became deeply rooted in Chiropractic philosophy. 10 years later, he now serves as the Philosophy Chair at Life West, where he oversees the philosophy curriculum, the business program and the research classes. He received his Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences from Queen’s University in 2005 and his MBA from the University of Victoria in 2018. In 2018, he also joined the Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers after graduating from Sherman College’s ACP program. He uses skills acquired in the classroom combined with those obtained in the field to fuse the Philosophy, Art, Science, and Business of Chiropractic together for maximum impact on his students.

He is an ardent supporter of the chiropractic profession, and has a passion for bringing science and philosophy together to end false “evidence-based” vs “subluxation-based" dichotomies within the profession so we can move forward with an understanding of chiropractic that supports the founding principles of the profession while being firmly rooted in the tenets of logic and evidence.

Outside of campus or the adjusting room, you can find him playing Beatles songs on his guitar, hitting balls on the squash court or at the hockey rink catching a Toronto Maple Leafs or San Jose Sharks game.

This is going to be another fun evening that will leave you inspired, enlightened, and empowered. We hope to see you there!

On Monday evening, November 4, 2019, we have a very special our guest speaker joining us, Dr. Simon Senzon, the noted Chiropractic Historian.

Dr. Senzon is the author of five books and thirty peer-reviewed articles on the history and philosophy of chiropractic. His newest book is Palmer Chiropractic Green Books: The Definitive Guide and his latest articles include a 10-part series in the Journal of Chiropractic Humanities on The Chiropractic Vertebral Subluxation and a new article in Chiropractic History describing the landmark Morikubo trial with primary sources. He is one of the leading scholars on the history of chiropractic around the world. Dr. Senzon’s latest research is concerned with The Future of Chiropractic. He is currently completing his PhD on the chiropractic literature at Southern Cross University’s School of Health and Human Sciences.

Dr. Senzon will present some of his latest research as we gather at the Chiropractic Philosophy Forum this coming Monday night. At that talk, he will describe his PhD research strategy and provide us with clues through which we could understand the flaws and strengths in the chiropractic literature. His focus is to explore the many errors in the chiropractic literature dealing with the terms “Innate Intelligence,” and “Vertebral Subluxation.” Simon has located dozens of instances of bias, incorrect facts, and false statements, many of which are aimed at the traditional philosophy and theory of chiropractic. On Monday night, he plans to provide us with new information about the chiropractic literature and some of the ways we could help move the profession forward.

This will be another extremely empowering evening. Please join us at the SeaTac Doubletree Hotel from 8 – 10 PM.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
