It’s not too late to sign up: our Decluttering Workshop is tonight at 6:00 PM PT on Zoom.

If your closets, counters, or inbox are doing the most, come spend an hour with us and professional organizer Shantae Duckworth.

We’ll talk through simple ways to:
• decide what stays and what goes
• set up easy systems that actually stick
• make small spaces work harder
• start where you are without the overwhelm

It’s virtual, friendly, and practical. Bring your questions and a notepad. Feel free to join from your phone or computer.

We’re excited to share a glimpse from Monday’s Senior Village meeting at the Filipino Community Center, where our Project Manager Ramona represented AARTH.

It was a diverse and inspiring gathering with individuals representing communities from Cambodia, Thailand, Africa, Iran, and more all coming together to support their elders.

AARTH had the chance to share about our workshops on healthy living, chronic disease, diabetes, and fall prevention, and it was encouraging to see how engaged everyone was in the conversation.

Special thanks to Virginia and Claudine the Program Managers for their continued partnership and support.

It was such an honor to be at the beautiful dinner hosted by to celebrate living icons who continue to bring the LGBTQ family together and build support in the Seattle community.

One of those icons is our very own Rev. Dr. Renee McCoy! She is an incredible leader who always connects people who need support with those who are ready to give it.

At the dinner, she received a very special honor—an award that is now named after her: the “Rev. Dr. Renee McCoy Lifetime Achievement Award.” 🏆

All of us at AARTH are so proud and excited for Dr. Renee. She is smart, strong, playful, and full of energy.

We love you , and we’re so happy to see you recognized in this way. Here’s to many more moments like this!

Seattle Churches, AARTH invites you to join Memory Sunday!

Every 2nd Sunday in June, Memory Sunday raises awareness about Alzheimer’s and other dementias in Black congregations nationwide.

We’re partnering with The Balm in Gilead’s Brain Health Center for African Americans to help churches take action through prayer, education, and community support.

Here’s how your church can get involved:
- Host a prayer or recognition for caregivers
- Share brain health tips in your bulletin or website
- Educate on dementia prevention and early diagnosis
- Set up a resource table with helpful info

📩 Need flyers or support? Contact ebonyh@aarth.org

Let’s protect our legacy, uplift our caregivers, and make brain health a church matter. 🙏🏾
