This month, we honor the life and legacy of our co-founder Reginald L. Diggs, whose courage and compassion helped shape the mission of AARTH.

In this video, his mother and fellow co-founder reflects on his deep commitment to educating the African American community about HIV/AIDS and the work they did together partnering with churches, clinics, and trusted community spaces across Seattle. Their goal was to create pathways for education, compassion, and support so people living with HIV and other chronic illnesses could find understanding instead of stigma.

Together, with the help of another co-founder Dr. Moses. They helped bring critical health education and resources directly into the community.

Today, we continue that vision by bridging the gap between individuals living with chronic diseases and access to the resources, knowledge, and support they need to live healthier lives.

His legacy continues to guide our work and the community he helped build.

Opioid overdoses can happen anywhere, to anyone and often when we least expect it. That’s why we’re continuing our commitment to keeping our community safe by providing free Narcan (Naloxone).

Narcan is a simple nasal spray that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose within minutes. You do not need medical training to use it, and it will not cause harm if opioids are not present. Carrying Narcan is about being prepared to save a life whether it’s a neighbor, a loved one, or even a stranger.

If you’re in the Seattle area, stop by during our pickup window and keep this lifesaving tool in your home, car, purse, or church safety kit. No complicated process. Just community care in action.

If you or someone you know could benefit, come through. Knowledge is power. Preparedness is Love.

02/17/2026

We still have FREE Narcan (Naloxone) available for pick up on February 24th from 11AM–1PM. If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time.

Narcan is a nasal spray that can reverse an opioid overdose in minutes. It works by blocking the effects of opioids and helping restore breathing. Simply spray it into one nostril if someone is unresponsive, not breathing normally, or has blue/gray lips or fingertips. It will not harm someone if opioids are not present, so when in doubt, use it and call 911 immediately.

You do not have to use opioids to carry Narcan. If someone you love, work with, or pass on the street needs help, having it on hand could save a life.

Click the link in our bio or comment “Narcan” and I’ll send you the registration link.
