Last week, Governor Ferguson released his proposed budget plan for 2026. We are disappointed to see that his proposal includes cutting Community Health Center funding essential to keeping medication affordable for Washington's individuals and families. The Legislature has a tough job ahead to balance the budget in this year's legislative session, but we urge lawmakers to protect the important safety net programs that keep medicine affordable for our community.
