WHIP (Whole Health Integration Program) is designed to guide par

Tarzana Treatment Center's Whole Health Integration Program, or WHIP, is a 12-week intervention. Supporting participants through group and one on one sessions as well as linkage to resources and referrals to improve their overall quality of life. The WHIP program works with participants to accomplish their their Whole Health Goals utilizing small achievable weekly goals. while connecting participants with resources and referrals as needed such as Outpatient, Mental health, Medical care, HIV Specialty services (Benefits assistance, HIV care coordination, HIV case management), STI testing and treatment, Prep/Pep, dental assistance, transitional housing programs, sober livings, , detox, residential treatment, transportation services, legal services, and support groups -- just to name a few!

The Safe Spring Break event is an annual event hosted by the CSUN Health Center intended to educate and equip CSUN students to enjoy their spring break safely. At the table, we showcased a number of our programs and services, ranging from HIV treatment/Testing to our SUD programs.

If you saw our last video, you probably have heard, one of our World AIDS Day Event panelist Victor, speak about AZT.

Azidothymidine was a game changer in the early stages of the HIV epidemic. While we have made many strides in HIV/AIDS treatment, those who were newly diagnosed during this time had AZT as the only option.

We want to take this as a moment to recognize how much growth occured over the last few decades, and how the fight towards ending HIV has not ended. ❤️

Thank you all so much for a wonderful year. We had so many memorable moments. We have 9 more months left of our WHIP contract, and have been carrying out this program for the past 4+ years. 🌟 AND each year just keeps getting better and better.

We wanted to say how proud we are to see all of you grow not only in your recovery journeys but, your goals as well. WHIP appreciates each and every one of you, who have made this program as colorful and bright as it is today. 🩵 2026 is upon us, and we are looking forward to what's in store.
