World Hearing Day 2026 reminds us of something simple but powerful: every child deserves the chance to hear the world around them.

This year, the World Health Organization’s theme—“Hearing care for all children”—highlights the importance of early detection, timely treatment, and access to specialized care so children can develop speech, language, learning, and confidence.

At Reston ENT, our team is proud to care for children and families in our community. Our audiologists, Dr. Rachel Moldenhauer and Dr. Ariana Braganza, provide comprehensive hearing evaluations and expert guidance for young patients. Our ENT physicians work alongside them to diagnose and treat medical and surgical ear conditions—from recurrent ear infections and hearing loss to more complex ear disorders.

Six months after septorhinoplasty and the difference speaks for itself.

This patient came to Dr. Nicole Colgrove with a history of childhood nasal trauma from a fall, a left-sided deviated septum, left nasal valve collapse, and a dorsal hump.

The goals were clear: improve breathing, restore symmetry, and create a natural profile that fits her face.

At 6 months after her surgery with Dr. Colgrove, she has a straight septum, balanced nasal airflow, a smooth dorsum without the hump, and symmetric nostrils.
