Mary Newell,MD, FACR, showing off a hard copy version of the new BI-RADS Version 2025 at the American College of Radiology (ACR) booth at RSNA. She served as a chair of the revision committee.

The last time these new breast imaging guidelines were updated was 2013, and a lot has changed, including 3D mammography systems now making up half of the systems used in the U.S. It contains new information on tomosythesis, breast ultrasound and MRI. .
